Starting a business as a newly single parent raising three children, in the mid ‘90’s Wendy quickly became an Internet marketing pioneer. Generating international interest she was one of the first women to produce and host an online Internet radio program. In the late ‘90’s she was a nominee for Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year, and her company was chosen “Business of the Year” by her local Chamber of Commerce. Wendy was speaking to thousands of people each month, throughout Western Canada and the U.S. and sharing innovative strategies for marketing online and developing cross promotional opportunities. In late 1999 Wendy contracted a near fatal bacterial infection that literally ate away portions of the three lower vertebrae and two discs in her spine. She spent two months in hospital and two months in a body cast (from neck to knee) to fuse bone fragments back around her spinal cord. The next two years were a time to “start over” once again - learning to walk without assistance, regaining her strength and stamina, and finding new direction for her life. Finally in 2004 Wendy’s new company “Think Without Boundaries!” was born. As her life philosophy, the name of her business and her website – and her soon to be published autobiography – these three words inspire Wendy – and anyone who hears her story!
